The My Father Flor de las Antillas cigar brand is another award-winning creation by the Garcia family made in their My Father cigar factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. They have been extremely difficult to source in 2o21 due to the poor tobacco crops.
The Flor de las Antillas cigar was created to honor Cuba, the largest island of the Antilles archipelago. The band uses artwork from the early 19th century, paying homage to early cigar production. The Flor de las Antillas is a medium to full-bodied blend that delivers the signature My Father spice with hints of cocoa flavor.
The Flor de las Antillas cigar is then blended with several rich Cuban-seed tobaccos which round out these cigars with a smooth and creamy profile. The construction is top-notch with two binders, and the cigar produces a nice white ash.
The blend is comprised of a sun-grown wrapper harvested from the “Las Marias”
Flor de las Antillas was awarded the #1 Spot on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 Cigars of 2012.
