Some People Ask, What's better, a Straight tube or a beaker bong?

Well to answer that question, you have to know the benefit's of both. A beaker bong with provide stability with a wide base so you cant tip it over easily, it also provides more surface area of water tension to break as the smoke pulls through. However most beakers don't take advantage of the extra space with percolators.

Straight tubes are very common for percolators to be built in for added filtration since there is less water to break. This gives a straight bong less water to bubble so it takes up less space, it is very simple and easy to use for beginners. When a straight tube has percs it adds o much filtration you wont even notice there's less water in it. 

So to answer your question, it all depends on your style, some people like the smoothness the water gives you in a beaker bong, but some people love the simple design of a straight tube, and how it takes less water to use. A lot of stoners advocate for beaker bongs, but it is always personal preference!
